Andriy Khomyn RDT, DD is the founding denturist of Smile Care Denture Centre. Having graduated from Dental Technology in 2007, Andriy qualified as a Registered Dental Technician in Ontario. His passion in the dental field evolved into furthering his career through completing a Denturism program with Honours and becoming a licensed Denturist.
Andriy is a licensed BPS Denture provider as well as Suction Effective Mandibular Complete Denture (SEMDC) clinician. He has travelled extensively in Canada and internationally to bring back the best denture technology to his practice. Mr. Khomyn has successfully completed detailed training for the revolutionary SEMCD technique in Japan. Andriy was fortunate to learn directly from Dr. Abe himself and his team, who has pioneered this technique. Suction Effective Mandibular Denture Technique specifically focuses on creating a stronger seal and complete suction that keeps the lower denture firmly in place.
Through meticulous treatment planning, Mr. Khomyn delivers superb results and a smile to be proud of. Andriy’s specific area of interest focuses on implant dentistry. Being a dental technician and a denturist, Andriy has vast knowledge and comprehensive understanding of implant retained and implant supported dentures. Because of this unique skill set Smile Care Denture Centre is able to offer multiple implant options such as snap on locator dentures, implant titanium digital bar dentures, fixed removable dentures, immediate implant treatment: teeth in a day, All-On-6.
Improving the quality of life of our patients is Andriy’s main goal, he always strives to upgrade his skills and provide superior quality dentures to our patients. Andriy is a member of numerous professional organizations, including Denturist Association of Ontario, Denturist Association of Canada, Association of Dental Technicians of Ontario, College of Denturists and College of Dental Technicians of Ontario.
Natalie Leung, DD is an associate denturist and office manager at Smile Care Denture Centre.
Natalie started her dental career as a treatment coordinator and dental assistant. Her passion for patient care led her to completing the Denturism program which she graduated with Honours to become a licensed Denturist in Ontario. Since then, Natalie continued to further her education by completing training in Biofunctional Prosthetics Systems (BPS), specializing in creating custom dentures. With her caring and gentle approach, she strives to provide personalized and patient-centred care. Natalie is skilled at all aspects of denture fabrication, from single tooth replacements to full mouth prosthetics. Aside from restoring smiles, Natalie ensures that both the clinic and the in-house laboratory runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Her managerial skillset allows Natalie to oversee laboratory operations in order to meet the unique and personalized needs of each patient. Natalie is an active member of The Denturist Association of Ontario and College of Denturists of Ontario.
When Natalie is not at work, she is spending family time with her new puppy Coco.
Coco is a mischievous six month old corgi. Together, they enjoy exploring new dog parks in Toronto.
